Transmission · Next generation

A transmission that holds across generations.

Succession is more than a set of deeds. It is a framework that allows wealth, decisions and family ties to survive the transition. We work alongside the founding generation and the heirs, on equal terms.

Our approach

How we work with families on this.

Structure first, instruments second

Trusts, holdings and foundations are tools, not strategies. We start from the family map, the role of each member, and the long-horizon objective, then choose instruments accordingly.

A framework for dialogue

Family councils, charters, investment committees. The most useful frameworks are usually the simplest. We help families converge on what to write down and what to leave flexible.

Education of the next generation

Heirs do not inherit competence with the assets. We support gradual exposure to investment decisions, governance, and the language of advisors.

Continuity, beyond a single advisor

Founded in 2012 and regulated by FINMA. A senior team, a limited number of clients, true open architecture across leading international banks.

Who we serve

Three profiles, one standard of attention.

Founding generation

Patriarchs and matriarchs preparing the next transition, who want clarity for their heirs without ceding what should not yet be ceded.

Heirs in their 25 to 45 years

Next-generation members called to take over, looking for a framework to learn, contribute, and gradually take responsibility.

Multi-branch families

Families with several branches and divergent agendas, who need shared rules rather than improvised arbitrations.

What we do

Disciplines most relevant to this work.

Succession is rarely a single workstream. It usually combines structuring, governance and asset coordination.

Frequently asked

Questions families ask before engaging.

When should a family start planning succession?

Earlier than most do. Useful work begins ten to fifteen years before the expected transition. It allows heirs to mature, structures to settle, and tax exposure to be addressed without urgency.

What is a family charter?

A written document that captures the family's values, decision rules, and the principles governing shared assets. It is not a legal contract but a reference text that gives heirs a stable framework.

Do you replace the family's lawyers?

No. We coordinate with the family's lawyers, notaries and tax advisors. Our role is to ensure that legal, tax, investment and governance decisions are consistent and oriented to the long term.

How is the next generation involved?

Through gradual exposure: observation of investment committees, dedicated education sessions, and progressively meaningful responsibilities. The pace is set by the family, not by a template.

Can the structure evolve over time?

It must. A succession framework that cannot adapt to divorce, new branches, or a change of residency is brittle. We design with adaptability in mind.
